About the Game

Venture into a Ravaged and Unknown World

When the artificial ecosystem suddenly and inexplicably collapsed, it triggered catastrophic natural disasters and devastating wars that erased civilization entirely. Over the centuries that followed, a peculiar substance called Mud blanketed the world, giving rise to monstrous creatures.
You will enter Havenswell, humanity's last remaining city, navigating through frigid and waterlogged sewers, sprawling layered slums, and a breathtaking sky city suspended above a lake. Amid ruins crawling with monsters, you will search for the truth behind civilization's downfall. Journey through breathtaking and haunting landscapes, confront deadly and enigmatic foes, and bring a grim and hopeless chapter of history to its final conclusion.

Carry the Weight of a Mysterious Purpose

Though Bladers bear a human appearance, they are in truth an entirely new form of life born from enigmatic technology. Driven by their own hidden purposes, they walk a solitary and perilous path, and through the power of the Branches, they are reborn even after a fatal end.
With the Branches now shattered and scattered, you — a Blader — must comb through the city to locate and restore them. Along the way, you will encounter both humans and fellow Bladers caught in equally desperate circumstances, sharing in their grief and hope, and standing together with them to unravel the dark truth behind the plagues and catastrophes that have consumed the world.

Stand Against Formidable and Terrifying Adversaries

Warriors who have lost their minds and devolved into savage, rampaging beasts;
A lethal mechanical predator soaring through the skies, its body armored in razor-edged blades;
Enormous creatures stampeding across the land, reducing entire cities to rubble through sheer force and explosive destruction.
You must repeatedly clash with fearsome enemies from numerous factions, dying and rising again and again — seizing fleeting openings within their relentless assaults, and pouring everything you have into each victory in order to press forward toward the edge of the world.

Engage in Thrilling and Deeply Varied Combat

◆ An extensive and diverse arsenal of weapons to wield.
◆ Freely combine weapons and their unique weapon skills to suit your playstyle.
◆ Build your Sync Rate through bold offensive strikes and calculated defensive maneuvers, growing stronger with every exchange.
◆ The transformation device equipped to your left hand channels dozens of distinct spells, ready to attack or support at a moment's notice.
◆ Harness multiple interconnected systems to craft a vast array of move combinations, and strike decisively in the midst of ever-shifting battles.

Scavenge the Ruins for Formidable Gear, Attire, and Ancient Relics

Plunge into the hauntingly grand remains of the fallen city and unearth weapons and outfits spanning a wide range of styles and combat capabilities — some fiercely guarded by powerful monsters, others concealed deep within the city's labyrinthine alleyways. Beyond their battle stats, each piece of gear features distinct visual designs, letting you craft a truly personal look as you head into combat.
Moreover, ancient relics from civilizations long past are strewn throughout the ruins, waiting to be discovered. Draw upon your Blader's unique power to read the memories embedded within them and piece together the forgotten history of Havenswell.

genuinely one of the best level designs in the genre, map was fun to explore. Everything else is quite mediocre, but still a fun experience. Gameplay-wise this game is the closest thing to bloodborne that we have on

A good anime style souls-like game. The energy bar system is pretty unique, the story and lore are interesting, but I feel like the world design is very depressing but it fits well in the grand scheme of things.

Hidden gem of a game. Exploration is very satisfying and the combat system is surprisingly fluid. Code Vein 2 was a massive disappointment and this game overrides it in every meaningful aspect. Absolute recommend after

Excellent game. Well worth the price. The fights do get insanely hard at the end and DLC. So for the last bit, I had to hit very high levels. One of the best souls games that is not from FROM. Combat style is very
