Sayl’s ascendancy began when he manipulated his tribe into a Daemonic ritual—only to sabotage it, fusing his peers into the Chaos Spawn Nightmaw, his monstrous and mindlessly loyal companion. Unlike his peers’ brute-force tactics, Sayl thrives on cunning and deception.
A master schemer, Sayl uses an array of Manipulations to weaken his enemies by disrupting the logistics of their armies, throwing their settlements in disarray and even directly whispering lies that warp and sever their diplomatic ties with friends and neighbours. Even his own forces are subject to the machinations of the Twisted Seer of the Waste in their march to victory and doom. Growing in power unlocks additional Manipulations, ever more potent and treacherous but relying on them is equally as treacherous. Too many Manipulations in a short time span will inevitably attract dark, malevolent attention that Sayl needs to navigate around or else he will suffer for his transgressions.
Ever-thirsty to magnify his sorcerous strength, Sayl strives to enact a great ritual. To do this, he must construct Chaos Altars, allowing him to channel great arcane power. Through enacting rituals, he will face many battles, events and dilemmas in his quest for supreme power, including his greatest challenge, if he is to claim the ultimate prize.
Sayl’s army blends sorcery, monstrosities, and betrayal-driven creations. His unique roster includes:
• Legendary Lord: Sayl the Faithless
• Lord: Great Shaman Sorcerer
• Legendary Hero: Beorg Bearstruck
• Hero: Fimir Noble
• Melee Infantry: Marauder Bearmen (Axe & Shield, Great Weapons)
• Shock Cavalry: Kurgan Horsemen (Dual Weapons, Great Weapons)
• Monsters: Curs’d Ettin, Curs’d Ettin (Runecaller), Chimera, Dread Maw
• 4x Regiments of Renown
Sayl is probably the best out of 3 (which honestly, isn't saying much, since one is the unlosable Lothern Sea Guard spam campaing, like every HElves ever and the other is marauder spam). So in this DLC, you'll get: 1.
Ths DLC update completely broke the game. Warriors of Chaos can't confederate each other and can't vassalize other factions, Elspeth can't access her main faction mechanic, and various other factions are completely
love it when daddy Sayl says before battle " they may call me faithless but i believe in you and in our victory!" to his army. Brings me to tears FeelsStrongMan
Sayls' hunt missions are bugged. On stage 2 of the cygor hunt when i engage the marker, a cygor army "withdraws" from it, then vanishes. No battle, no message, just bug.
First, I'm so pleasantly surprised that CA took the time to rework all the Norsca factions. This is something that they didn't necessarily have to do, but it's awesome that they did. Wulfrik and Throgg got new, unique
Just finished this Campaign. Did Sayl with a Fimir themed army and some of the new units to try as well as a secondary Beorg army with almost all Bearmen and took all traits that upgrade them. Highly recommend both and
