Though many nobles find his ruthless methods distasteful, none deny his unmatched naval expertise. His mastery of the legendary Dragonships and the forces they command is Ulthuan’s best hope of survival.
The Sea Patrol does not develop settlements traditionally. Instead, they command Dragonships—vast, self-sufficient vessels with infrastructure, economy, and military buildings. They support nearby friendly fleets and launch major assaults. Aislinn begins with one Dragonship but can add more as his campaign expands.
Aislinn transfers most conquered settlements to other High Elf factions but retains limited building rights. He can develop Sea Patrol Outposts to strengthen naval forces, or establish Elven Colonies at key locations, both generating resources.
Outposts grant knowledge that fuels upgrades for Outposts, Colonies, and Dragonships. Dedicating Outposts to major Elven factions unlocks aid from their leaders, including elite units and buffs.
Aislinn’s roster emphasizes coastal strikes, alongside the standard High Elf lineup:
• Legendary Lord: Sea Lord Aislinn
• Lord: Sea Helm
• Legendary Hero: Caradryan
• Hero: Mist Mage
• Melee Infantry: Ship’s Company
• Monstrous Infantry: Sea Elemental, Oceanids
• Monster: Merwyrm
• Flying Chariot (Ranged): Lothern Skycutter (Bows), Lothern Skycutter (Bolt Thrower)
• 3x new Regiments of Renown
High Elves are my favorite faction in WH2 and 3. This DLC is an uninspired cash grab that ruins established mechanics and brings nothing new of value. If CA can't make a fun and engaging DLC even for HE, this game is
Extremely disappointing. I have played the high elves for over 5 thousand hours across Warhammer 2 and 3, and this DLC and Update totally ruins them. The patrons of the realms is so poorly designed that it takes all
Very cool campaign mechanics. Sadly, this guy is so OP there's literaly 0 challenge in his campaign. Like, completly no challenge whatsoever. The worst part? It's the same old boring spearmen/archer/Lother Sea Guard
Remember when a TW Warhammer dlc used to be a big and exciting spectacle? Amazing voice actor and exciting campaigns, bringing the lore to life in gripping ways. I do. What on earth happened in Warhammer 3 to fall SO
Pay money to use units modders had given you for free until CA needed a cash grab and forced those mods to cease to be. Yaayyy! ♥♥♥♥ Creative Assembly and ♥♥♥♥ Total War.
Actually pretty impressive. This is what Nakai should have been more than 5 years ago. That being said, this is a horde focused faction and not something for every one, though it mostly removes the downsides of being a
