It's a country pack, so what it does is adding focus trees to South America: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and also Bolivia and Paraguay. The hate this got is unwarranted. It does what it says on the tin, with focus trees
I actually quite like this dlc. I think it would have been better to provide focus trees for ecuador, peru, columbia and venezuela and I do have good ideas for them. The dlc is one of the weaker ones in the pile but
there is no point in getting this dlc. you just get bogged down in south america. the trees are fun for a bit but get old quick. brazil and argentina are fun for the first few hours or so but your stuc in south america.
At some point I turned it off to play, since it disturbs the normal game when you want to defeat the allies and chile or brasil become majors and you either naval invade across the atlantik or fight all the way down
Trial of Allegiance adds a few national focus trees for South American countries, but that’s about it. There are no major gameplay changes, and the focus trees feel limited and underdeveloped, so most players won’t find
