Front Mission Evolved – A Misunderstood Mech Gem When Front Mission Evolved first dropped, I played it on Xbox and had a blast. Sure, the conversation back then was all, “It’s not turn-based—so it’s bad!” But honestly?
I can't speak for dissapointed Front Mission fans, Mechwarrior was always my bag, but I was looking for an accessible mech game my 6yo could play, and I found it here. He's playing on easy but it's giving him enough of
Front Mission Devolved would be a more fitting name. Square seems to be hellbend on killing their fanchises. Sure the PSX era already saw a 1st person game, but this is ...sadge. You play 1 guy who, in a forgettable
Nostalgic game. Played this a lot back when I was a kid. Would like to be able to play multiplayer. At least let me get EXP while playing Last Stand - Solo as there's not that much player online for multiplayer.
The game was enjoyable while it worked but it's kind of buggy and not prone to modern systems. The storyline is okay, graphics are good enough, controls not very complex and the responsiveness is okay too. Interesting
A very nostalgic game for me, something I enjoyed playing as a teenager. It's full of the tropes of the era, third person shooter stuff, all of very middling quality. The difficulty seems off to me, easy is far too easy
