A Gem I Didn't Even Know Existed I didn't even know this game existed until a few days ago. My first impressions were pretty weak as I thought it was just a faster paced cover shooter like Gears of War or the original

Vanquish is one of those games that deserved far more recognition than it received. I first played the PlayStation 3 demo years ago, but never had the opportunity to experience the full game until it arrived on PC.

Halo & Gears on speed with a grain of Metal Gear Rising. I loved the sci-fi-bad ass scenario, the cool character and world design that brought so much variety also in the mission design. The sound track fitted well.

Taking cover was never about surviving. It was just the pause before the next burst forward.

Mgrr and bayonetta vibes. Combat feels great in vanquish. Getting all achievements felt engaging--there's never a dull moment. Very worth checking out if you like fast paced action games.

it's fine. Story wise not really interesting, the movement is enjoyable but I'm not quite a fan of the weapons system as it gets quite stale relatively fast. But still, nothing really bad about the game, but also
