Completely underrated and overlooked Final Fantasy game. It's really great, and while the magic system is a bit of a pain, the card game is super fun and the storyline is worth the effort with the magic system. Highly

This was my first FF, same as some of you. I have to say this is still one one my favourites. Coolest FF by far. Best card game, GFs and hell even Junction. However, the port is super lazy, at least it doesn't crash.

Honestly the only reason to play this version is that there's a hotkey to put it at 3x speed and it keeps the music at normal speed. Besides that you're much better off playing the original on an emulator with CRT

My brother used to play this on PS1 when we were kids. I remember I had a huge crush on Zell lol. This brings so much nostalgia. Out of all FF series, I love FF8's soundtrack!

Lowkey worth over 2013 version if you're modding. No point in HD textures if the models are still low poly. Unmodded, however, I wouldn't play this version as the models are so out of place without an HD background mod.
