I don't know why people are upset or surprised that an INDIE STUDIO made a game that is not on the same level as a AAA game. Once you get over the realization that this is an indie game that is clearly not on the same

Blood of Mehran was a very challenging and frustrating game, until I discovered parrying, it's so easy and satisfying and it completely solved the combat problem, at least in the early stages. This solved my problem
