A tale woven from mystery and dreams...
Follow Sophie, the budding alchemist, on a new journey that unfolds after she departs from Kirchen Bell. When she and Plachta are mysteriously pulled into the dreamlike world of Erde Wiege and separated, Sophie must search for her with the help of newfound allies.
Key Highlights:
- Enhanced Seamless Turn-Based Combat
Experience dynamic battles with the new multi-link system. Encounters trigger seamlessly during exploration, featuring up to six characters split into two teams. The action deepens with powerful Dual Trigger attacks that combine two allies’ abilities in synchronized assaults.
- Dual Synthesis Panel System
Alchemists can choose their challenge level in crafting. Place ingredients on a panel to create items using either the straightforward Standard Panel or the higher-risk, higher-reward Restricted Panel—offering a fun, puzzle-inspired synthesis mechanic.
- Shape the Weather to Alter the World
While regions in Erde Wiege have set weather patterns, special tools let you change them. Shifting the skies doesn't just transform the scenery—it unlocks hidden pathways, reveals new collection spots, and may even affect the materials you can gather.
Note:
Please visit the official website for further details.
Be aware that the main game is also available separately and within other special editions, including the "Digital Deluxe Edition" and "Ultimate Edition".
My favorite atelier I've played so far. A turn based combat system that was ahead of it's time and done better than expedition 33 if you ask me. Engaging story, great gameplay. Good music. Easy recommend.
Game has improved few functions compared to the first part and also I think it's easier than first part. Story was very great! I'll recommend this game! Graphics: 7/10 Soundtrack: 9/10 Gameplay: 8/10 Story: 10/10
One of the (if not the) best Atelier games. The story is good but the crafting is the real win. It's much more involved. There's few simple loops to be OP by mid game. It's a real puzzle at times. Perfectly balanced.
Replaying this gem again reaffirms that this game is a peak in the series. While Ryza was great in bringing in new fans and being a satisfying trilogy and I love Yumia with the story and respect experimenting with the
This was my first Atelier game! It's colourful & sweet, with charming characters, and funny moments throughout. Story Unlike a lot of other JRPGs, you aren't a legendary god-hero on a grand quest to save the universe.
A truly charming game. Sophie 2 is a perfect blend of the finest elements of the Atelier franchise, from past to present. It absolutely lives up to the wait and is well worth the time of fans of this 20+ years old
