About the Game

An enchanting tale born from a dream...

This is the story of Sophie, the young alchemist, during one of her many adventures after leaving Kirchen Bell. Drawn into the mystical dream world of Erde Wiege, Sophie must find her lost companion Plachta while uncovering secrets and forging bonds with new allies.

Key Features:
- Enhanced Seamless Turn-Based Combat
Battle transitions are seamless during exploration, with encounters triggering real-time turn-based combat for a full party of six. Divided into two teams of three, battles introduce dynamic Dual Trigger skills where two characters attack together, amplifying combo potential and strategic depth.

- Dual Panel-Based Synthesis System
Experience an intuitive, puzzle-style crafting system where ingredients are arranged on panels to create powerful new items. Choose between the Standard Panel for balanced results or the Restricted Panel for higher difficulty and better rewards.

- Weather Manipulation for Exploration
Each region in Erde Wiege has its own set weather, but with special tools, players can alter weather conditions. These changes don’t just transform the environment—they also unlock new paths, hidden areas, and unique material collections.

My favorite atelier I've played so far. A turn based combat system that was ahead of it's time and done better than expedition 33 if you ask me. Engaging story, great gameplay. Good music. Easy recommend.

One of the (if not the) best Atelier games. The story is good but the crafting is the real win. It's much more involved. There's few simple loops to be OP by mid game. It's a real puzzle at times. Perfectly balanced.

This was my first Atelier game! It's colourful & sweet, with charming characters, and funny moments throughout. Story Unlike a lot of other JRPGs, you aren't a legendary god-hero on a grand quest to save the universe.

A truly charming game. Sophie 2 is a perfect blend of the finest elements of the Atelier franchise, from past to present. It absolutely lives up to the wait and is well worth the time of fans of this 20+ years old
