About the Game

Sharpen your machete and load your shotgun: It's time to say hello to your old pal, Fred.

Arizona Sunshine® 2, the next-gen sequel to the fan-favorite VR apocalypse, packs even more gore-geous zombie action!

Return to the scorched, overgrown ruins of Arizona, where every shadow hides a Fred waiting to pounce. Driven by dark humor and desperate survival, this cinematic VR experience pulls you deeper into a ravaged world. Every weapon feels tactile and deadly—from the brutal crack of a machete to the thunder of a shotgun and the whoosh of a flamethrower. Ammo’s scarce, so aim true: every bullet matters.

And what makes surviving the apocalypse even better? A loyal companion at your side—Buddy. This brave dog isn’t just emotional support; he’s a full-on zombie-hunting partner who’ll draw attention, guide your path, and help you survive. And yes, co-op is back: team up with a friend in the full campaign, or rally your squad in 4-player Horde mode with free maps rolling out in Year 1.

In a world where silence is deadly and trust is rare, a single bark changes everything.

  • Forge an unbreakable bond in a cinematic VR story of survival, loyalty, and severed limbs

  • Feel every hit with immersive, physically-driven combat using shotguns, machetes, flamethrowers, and more

  • Battle through stunning, next-gen VR environments, from abandoned towns to scorched desert highways

  • Dismember, disintegrate, and destroy Feds with an advanced gore system built for maximum brutality

  • Play the entire campaign in 2-player co-op with a friend, side by side

  • Team up with up to three others in 4-player Horde mode, with free new maps launching in Year 1

Yes and yes. One of the best action VR game out here with Half-life Alyx. Less weapon in the second one but more "special" one that makes a huge difference (aka the big shotgun or grenade launcher). And this one, you

Best VR Co-op shooter, unlike many other titles advertised as co-op, the Arizona Sunshine series let you play the whole campaign in coop. Not just random 'rogue-like' missions. Game mechanics work well, solid title.

It's a testament to the studios's quality when you can make a mediocre game twice in a row plus a remake and now a Standalone of it's two versions. It's more baffling that despite the advancements in VR,, THE GAME STILL

Once you learn the holstering and it's very weird moving and switching and dropping and auto holstering it will make things alot easier. It's wonky. But the game play was pretty fun. There's no way to push a walker

Used my quest 2 with virtual desktop and it played like a dream :) I would recommend playing this game after Arizona Sunshine Remake with the difficulty set one level higher, which is how I ended up playing it. If you
