Description

Lead the fierce Saracen warriors through an exciting new single player campaign that ventures far beyond the battlefields of Europe. Chart an alternate course through history and aid Saladin in defending his desert territories from the relentless Crusader forces. Harness powerful new units to vanquish your foes across 5 story-driven missions and battle it out on 3 brand-new maps designed for multiplayer and skirmish play.

In the 'Saladin's Conquest' campaign, players will immerse themselves in the epic tale of the legendary Sultan of Egypt and Syria, the architect of the Ayyubid dynasty – Salah ad-Din, who marched upon the Kingdom of Jerusalem in 1187 at the head of the mightiest army he had ever assembled. Stepping into the role of Saladin, alongside his distinguished generals Gökböri and Abdullah, players will seize the chance to crush the formidable forces of the Kingdom of Jerusalem at the Horns of Hattin. Claim the most vital strongholds scattered across the Levant and bear witness to the historic siege of Jerusalem.

Features:

  • Fully playable new faction available in campaign, skirmish, and multiplayer – the Saracens
  • All-new single player campaign featuring five missions and more than 6 hours of gameplay
  • 3 freshly crafted multiplayer maps
  • Exciting and distinctive new units:
Hassassins – Deadly five-man melee squads boasting the remarkable ability of Camouflage. When activated, this skill renders them completely undetectable to enemy forces until they close the distance. Their second signature skill is Explosive Traps – once deployed, these traps detonate after 10 seconds, unleashing devastating damage upon both structures and soldiers, regardless of allegiance.

Grenadiers – A four-man ranged squad whose signature ability allows them to launch explosive projectiles with devastating efficiency against buildings and tightly packed enemy formations. As a trade-off for their destructive power, they are particularly susceptible to melee attacks...

Scorpion – The Saracens' answer to the traditional ballista, reimagined with an entirely new model and a distinct set of combat statistics.

If you looking for a new experience and more units and tactics then I recommend the DLC. However, we live in islamophobic era and this DLC is far from historical accuracy as it shows Salah El Din as un mercyful and

I split my review in two parts: First : Gameplay From gameplay point of view this dlc is genuinely amazing, better than any pervious part of the game. Story telling is better, missions are more challenging and more fun.

The leader they describe here, Salahaddin, is a merciful Muslim leader. Civilians do not kill as in the beginning of the game. Those who designed this DLC are hostile to Islam.

This dlc is all about how great Islam is and how evil Christianity is. What a load of rubbish this dlc really is (from the religious pov)!

Cool idea and a fun addition for the most part. I love how they kept the story dark/brutal and showed the religious fanaticism and violent tendencies of both sides, especially that of the Saracens. Thanks for not
