Step into the world of Amber Isle — a charming shop management and social simulation experience set among a community of prehistoric animal islanders known as Paleofolk!
You've been handed the reins of Amber Isle's one and only shop. Forage, craft, and peddle goods to satisfy the wonderfully varied needs of your Paleofolk clientele. Got a brachiosaur pal who needs a canvas stretching the full length of his enormous neck? A microraptor companion searching for furniture built to her petite proportions? Maybe a plesiosaur in desperate need of waterproof paper? Every customer brings their own habits, quirks, and wishes to uncover. Negotiate, barter, and counter-offer your way up the Shop Rankings — because only you can rescue Amber Isle from total fossilisation!

Give your shop a name, a personality, and a layout that's entirely your own! Reinvest your earnings into fresh decorations, new wall and floor styles, and much more. As your reputation grows, think strategically about your floor plan — expand your retail space and streamline operations to keep pace with your booming business.
Restore the island to its former glory!
Channel your shop earnings into reviving the island itself and opening up brand-new regions to explore. Lay down paths, plant foliage, and install amenities to transform Amber Isle into a thriving hotspot. Make it welcoming enough, and your Paleofolk visitors just might decide to call it home permanently!

The Paleofolk community spans a remarkable range of shapes, sizes, and species — and it goes far beyond dinosaurs! Expect Ice Age mammals, Permian amphibians, ocean dwellers, invertebrates, and plenty more. Amber Isle is home to 48 distinct Paleofolk residents, each carrying their own personality, preferences, conversations, and quests waiting to be discovered.
Deepen your bonds with Paleofolk by spending time together and tackling their requests. The closer you become, the more they'll reward you — sharing exclusive recipes and upgrades along the way. With enough support from you, they can even establish their own stalls, cafés, gardens, and communal gathering spots right there on Amber Isle!
Unleash your passion for all things prehistoric by creating your very own Paleofolk character! Tweak your wardrobe, crests, colour palette, and more using the in-depth character customiser. Choose from 5 distinct body presets: Small Herbivore, Large Herbivore, Raptor, Large Theropod, and Mammal. Which ancient creature will you become?
The Story So Far…
Amber Isle is clinging to life with just three residents left: the cantankerous iguanodon Mayor Clawsworth, the ever-cheerful pteranodon courier Maple, and the wildly enthusiastic megalosaurus intern Adi. As a final attempt to breathe new life into the island, Mayor Clawsworth begrudgingly gives you the green light to open a shop. As your journey unfolds, you'll uncover the stories of your new companions, the rich history of Amber Isle, and the mysterious chain of events that led to its decline…
So, what's holding you back?!
Fill those shelves, polish those displays, and throw open the doors — your next great adventure on Amber Isle is just about to begin!
If you want this game, BUY IT ON SALE. Here's what I think: Pros: -Cute Half-Baked Dinosaurs -Great Character Customization -Crafting Cons: -EXTREMELY LONG TUTORIAL!!! -Extremely Buggy -Horrible Camera Mechanics
Game took forever to 100%, had a bug where one of the villagers was at level 5 but my save was allegedly bugged and I didn't get the last crafting recipe. Way I fixed this was inviting to hang out, crafting or giving
It's a fairly simple gameplay loop so far, but it's really fun! It's easy to turn your brain off and just enjoy gathering, running your shop, and talking to your dino friends! The story has been interesting so far, I
I was very on-and-off with this game for a while. Not due to any fault of the game itself but more so my own. The game itself is very light, casual, and almost works as a good start-and-stop game if you've got the
I am in love with this game. The art style is adorable, I love the characters, the craftables are SO CUTE. I feel as if the progression is even and fair. I only have a few issues with it, and these obviously haven't
Really fun and cute :3 lots to do, the building is fun, the shopkeeping is fun, the quests are alright Saw a review saying that the controls and camera are objectively bad - Im going to have to hard disagree with that,
