About the Game

Step into the world of Amber Isle — a charming shop management and social simulation experience set among a community of prehistoric animal islanders known as Paleofolk!

Your mission? Take charge of the one and only shop on Amber Isle. Forage, craft, and stock your shelves to satisfy the wildly varied demands of your Paleofolk clientele. Got a brachiosaur pal who needs a canvas stretching the full length of his enormous neck? A microraptor friend in desperate need of a tiny, perfectly proportioned chair? Or perhaps a plesiosaur in a pickle who requires waterproof paper? Every customer brings their own quirks, habits, and preferences to discover. Master the art of haggling, pawning, and counter-offering your way to the pinnacle of the Shop Rankings — because only you can rescue Amber Isle from its slow slide into fossilisation!

Choose a name, personalise every corner, and operate your shop entirely on your own terms! Channel your earnings into unlocking fresh décor, new wall and floor options, and much more. As your reputation grows and foot traffic increases, think strategically about your layout, expand your available floor space, and fine-tune your shop's overall efficiency.

Restore the island to its former glory!

Reinvest your hard-earned shop profits into breathing new life into the island and opening up previously inaccessible areas. Lay down paths, plant foliage, and install amenities to transform Amber Isle into a destination worth visiting. Only by making the island truly welcoming will your Paleofolk companions consider making it their permanent home!

The Paleofolk population is wonderfully diverse in form, size, and species — and it goes far beyond dinosaurs! Expect Ice Age mammals, Permian amphibians, creatures of the deep, invertebrates, and plenty more! With 48 distinct Paleofolk characters to befriend across Amber Isle, each one boasts a completely unique personality, set of preferences, original dialogue, and their own personal quests.

Deepen your bonds with Paleofolk by spending time with them and completing their requests. As those friendships blossom, they'll reward you with new crafting recipes and valuable upgrades. Push those relationships far enough and your prehistoric pals can even establish their very own stalls, cafés, gardens, and shared community spaces right there on Amber Isle!

Unleash your passion for all things prehistoric by crafting your very own Paleofolk character! Swap out clothing, adjust crests, tweak colours, and much more using the in-depth character customiser. Select from 5 distinct body presets — Small Herbivore, Large Herbivore, Raptor, Large Theropod, and Mammal. Which ancient creature will you become?

The Story So Far…

Amber Isle has been reduced to a skeleton crew of three remaining residents: the cantankerous iguanodon Mayor Clawsworth, the endlessly cheerful pteranodon courier Maple, and the boundlessly enthusiastic megalosaurus intern Adi. With the island on the verge of total abandonment, Mayor Clawsworth grudgingly gives you the green light to open a shop. As your journey unfolds, you'll peel back the layers surrounding your new companions, uncover the rich history of the island, and piece together the mystery of how it all went so terribly wrong…

So what's holding you back?!

Fill those shelves, polish those displays, and get ready to throw open the doors — your next great adventure on Amber Isle is about to begin!

Game took forever to 100%, had a bug where one of the villagers was at level 5 but my save was allegedly bugged and I didn't get the last crafting recipe. Way I fixed this was inviting to hang out, crafting or giving

It's a fairly simple gameplay loop so far, but it's really fun! It's easy to turn your brain off and just enjoy gathering, running your shop, and talking to your dino friends! The story has been interesting so far, I

I was very on-and-off with this game for a while. Not due to any fault of the game itself but more so my own. The game itself is very light, casual, and almost works as a good start-and-stop game if you've got the
