DO NOT BUY ON STEAM. It is completely broken on modern machines. Use GoG instead, it works perfectly. Anyway, the gameplay still holds up extremely well. So many races and units and abilities and building up your leader

Love this old game. The game play is simplistic and easy to pick up with what is going on. The different paths you can take in the story means you can try and complete the game in a number of different ways.
