Dive into an extraordinary adventure with "Victors and Vanquished"! Across nineteen legendary scenarios, step into the shoes of iconic historical figures like Ragnar Lothbrok, Oda Nobunaga, Charlemagne, and beyond. Your decisions and tactical thinking will determine your destiny: will you rise triumphant, or be remembered among the defeated?
Victors and Vanquished delivers nineteen gripping scenarios, including:
Ragnar Lothbrok
Awaken the Viking within! Deploy your fierce warbands across the vast waters on a sprawling map of Northern Europe. Every great empire begins from modest roots, and yours is no exception. Launch raids to fund and expand your forces, then seize jarldoms across Norway, Denmark, and Sweden to strengthen your grip on power. As your rule grows, new opportunities emerge: harness your accomplishments to unlock advanced technologies, recruit legendary heroes, strike anywhere with your raids, and invoke the favor of the gods for powerful bonuses.
Otto the Great
Enemies close in from every direction: relentless Vikings, swift Magyar horsemen, and resolute Franks. Yet despite your crown, your authority has its limits. Three vassals stand beside you — they could prove to be your greatest allies in your quest to claim the title of Holy Roman Emperor, or they may become defiant obstacles standing in your way. Master the delicate balance of power and deploy carefully timed gifts to maintain their loyalty.
Oda Nobunaga
Select from six distinctive and fully unique factions. Will you harness the Takeda's unmatched cavalry to overwhelm your foes? Perhaps you'll guide the Otomo and seize the advantage brought by mysterious outsiders bearing revolutionary weaponry? Or, if deception and shadowy tactics suit you better, take command of the Mori clan and exploit their vast criminal underworld to enlist dangerous and unsavory allies.
And so much more awaits!

It’s weird, isn’t it? Here you have a DLC that offers 20 scenarios – 5 more than the usual formula of 3x5 scenario campaigns previous DLCs did, each scenario also tells you in advance how long it takes to play (with
I thought the negative review was an exaggeration. It's not. This DLC is buggy as heck. Bugs I'm running into: Villagers won't chop trees. When they finish a tree, they simply go idle instead of moving on to another
The is a DLC of shockingly mixed quality. Scenarios like Mstislav and Vortigern are genuinely great but the majority are just dull and forgettable, then there's the Viking Missions. The other 2 Viking missions are awful
I just "finished" a Vikings mission which should have been 2-3 missions. It should have ended after finishing the 30 sagas. There was no need for a final battle at the end of the mission. I used the torpedo code to just
Abysmal. The balance in this DLC is shameful really. I tried the Komnenos scenario and got hit with a massive army and a massive fleet that far outnumbered any number of troops I could have mustered. Not only that but I
