If you played AoE II as a child, this is the trip down memory lane that you want. I have DE as well, which has some nice QoL improvements, but it's this version that I keep coming back to play. Basically, it's the old

Gold please. But the bots never give it up. They always ask. This is one of the greatest games of the late 1990s. So much fun to play again now in HD.

The OG remaster, the OG gameplay. That's the best AOE version so far (better than IV or DE), the community is still very active, specially for such old game. That being said , multiplayer stutters happens here and
