You are a Leaper. A warrior with the impossible speed needed to dash between the fragments of your world and fight back. You must absorb the memories of fallen heroes, rebuild their weapons, and strike at the heart of the storm.

Like a bolt of lightning, freely dash through vast, ever-changing islands in the sky where each run is teeming with secrets to uncover. Find your rhythm in relentless battles against the Vortex's Sentinels, and face oppressive bosses who just can't wait to chew you up and spit you out.
Leapers can absorb the memories of the fallen warriors who came before, unlocking special powers and allowing you to reforge their equipment. This unlocks countless combinations, letting you create unique and crazy synergies. Equip up to two weapons and use their bespoke playstyles to unleash super-powerful and hidden Alterattacks. Combine this with Gifts, handy Trinkets and droppable Magifishes to adapt to every situation by shifting your build on the fly.
Combat in the Vortex is intense and demanding; your success is forged by both skill and strategy. Each defeat sends you back to the Ark not with failure, but with progress: the knowledge of a boss's devastating attack, and the ability to unlock powerful new weapons, Gifts, and more. Death is not an end, but a chance to regroup, re-arm, and return with a vengeance.
Test your mastery of the storm alone, or rally with fellow Leapers in online co-op. Bring your friends to unleash chaos, combining your builds to execute spectacular combos that reward perfect teamwork.

The inconsistent weapon animation cancelling makes the game really frustrating to play. Some weapons can cancel animations way more effectively than others which makes them more powerful in dodge based combat. On top of

Coming up on 2 years of early access, I'm not sure what they did with their time. Melee combat is still unrewarding compared to range options. It's impossible to see enemy attacks with the visual clutter and exploration
22 hour and I beat the final boss 100% solo. Lots of fun, still don't have all items unlocked. I love hunting for the secret areas on the map. Looking forward to additional biomes. BONUS: Soundtrack is absolute fire!
