Loved this game it is actually better than the sequel. Only negative is that the gameplay is very repetetive. But you can customize your units and create fun exploitative builds.
I picked this up very late to the party (in fact, it was playing Mechanicus 2 that brought me here). This is such a great gem of a game I'm sad I didn't play it earlier! Definitely pick this up if you're on the fence.
This has been a solid tactics puzzle game. The best comparison I can make is if XCOM and Darkest Dungeon had a lovechild. You don't need to be a 40k fan to enjoy this, it's perfectly fine as it's own standalone product.
