Sons of Horus

The Black Legion are the latest faction to invade Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector. Fifteen new units bring the Warmaster’s wrath to the galaxy and devastation to all who stand in their way.

Commanders

The Chaos Lord, among the mightiest of the Champions of Chaos, has led their treacherous warriors through countless mortal lifetimes, demanding nothing less than absolute ruthlessness from all who serve them.

Sorcerers of Chaos twist the fate of the galaxy through forbidden rites and blasphemous pacts. They draw power from the Warp to empower their allies and annihilate their foes, though such gifts often come at a terrible price.

The Master of Executions exists for a single purpose; these single-minded axemen stride unflinchingly towards the enemy’s greatest champions and most beloved leaders, bellowing a fatal decree before crashing forward and hacking through armour, flesh and bone.

Cultist Firebrands wield their Balefire pikes at the forefront of the assault, seeking the enemy and consigning them to a fiery death. Fellow Cultists are emboldened by the flames and fight with renewed fury in their presence.

Black Legion Elites

Chaos Terminators combine unmatched resilience and a devastating arsenal. Encased in hulking armour, these murderous elites advance through storms of enemy fire, cutting down all who dare to stand before them.

The Chosen are some of the most seasoned and merciless warriors of the Black Legion — veterans of countless wars and atrocities. Granted – or having seized – their warband’s most powerful weapons, these warriors undertake the most glorious and dangerous missions, and are the bane of all that lives.

Havocs are heavy weapon specialists trained to obliterate their enemies from afar. With devastating anti-infantry and anti-armour firepower, they dominate the battlefield through relentless, punishing volleys that reduce their foes to dust and ash.

Obliterators are a monstrous fusion of flesh and metal. Having reshaped weapons from their own mutated forms, these abominations step directly from warp fissures to channel daemonic fury from their fleshmetal guns.

Engines of Destruction

The Helbrute is a fusion of corrupted machine and tormented flesh. Armed with heavy weaponry and monstrous mechanical limbs, a Helbrute unleashes its torment upon the living in acts of savage destruction.

The Venomcrawler is a Daemon Engine born of the Warp — a grotesque amalgam of daemon flesh and cursed iron. Driven by a ravenous hunger for flesh and souls, it rampages across the battlefield, tearing apart its victims.

The Forgefiend is a Daemon Engine designed to unleash devastating barrages of hell-forged weaponry. Its massive forelimbs are replaced by daemonic gun-mounts, spewing warp-tainted munitions that tear through armour and flesh with equal ease.

Chaos Rhinos are ancient armoured transports that have been corrupted by centuries of exposure to the Warp. Despite their taint, they remain as durable and dependable as ever, carrying allies safely through the fires of battle.

Remorseless Forces of the Black Legion

Chaos Legionaries are once-loyal warriors of the Imperium who turned their back on the Emperor during the Horus Heresy. Powered by endless hatred and the dark gifts of the warp, they stride forth to crush all who stand in front of them. Whether millennia-old veterans of the Long War or traitors from Renegade warbands, Legionaries are deadly and adaptable warriors.

The Raptors are sadistic killers who strike from above to sow panic and death. With screeching battle cries amplified to terrify their prey, they descend upon the enemy’s weakest points, reveling in the slaughter of the helpless and the fearful.

Chaos Cultists are mortal devotees of the Dark Gods. Under the command of mighty Heretic warlords, these crudely-armed fanatics swarm to war in vast, frenzied mobs, eager to shed blood in the name of their blasphemous masters.

Command Support

The Heldrake is a winged Daemon Engine forged from metal and malice. When not tearing enemy aircraft apart, they streak across the battlefield and turn their blazing weapons upon those below.

just wanted to let the devs know that i bought the DLC only to add funding for the crusade mode/procedural AI skirmish campaign. the mode itself is still way below my expectation but its the only reason for me to remain

Dude, they're cool and have a lot of awesome combos and abilities. But this feels like the Astra Militarum situation where some of the characters aren't finished, but they are still a really strong faction if you are

Finally - I waited so long for a good Battlesector DLC. It might not have as much content as Necrons (only a new faction, no new campaign), but Chaos Space Marines are even better than my favorite soulless automatons

Since this DLC the game crashes often. The units in this DLC are absurdly strong (propably to inflate the sales) so there is no more balance in this game. Stay away until they fix this.

This dlc has been a long time in waiting and honestly should just be part of the base game, some elements feel rushed notably the death animations and poses of the heretic units. My main gripe and I'm sure a huge
