Victoria 3: Pivot of Empire

Explore a century of colonial uncertainty and political transformation in Pivot of Empire, an immersion pack for Victoria 3, Paradox Interactive’s society simulation game about global economics and geopolitics in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Pivot of Empire focuses on the societal evolution of India in this period, from government by a private enterprise to the beginnings of a movement for independence. Guide the varied cultures of the Indian subcontinent to prosperity and, potentially, freedom, as the tides of change swirl around the jewel of the crown. Lead the Indian people to self-rule and a global destiny, or maintain the status quo as the centerpiece of the world’s most powerful empire.

Features of Victoria 3: Pivot of Empire include:

  • New Events and Journal Entries for the East India Company, the British Raj, the Sikh Empire, and various Princely States.

  • New Historical Content for India and the Sikh Empire, including The Indian Uprising and various historical social and political movements, as well as companies.

  • Choose the future of India as nationalists debate between the fight for reform or the dream of full independence, and British administrators anxiously try to preserve their power.

  • Reshape the British India Caste System through laws and events, contending with the existing power structure.

  • Use the new Harvest and Famines mechanics to secure India's food supply, taking advantage of the unique events and narrative content

  • New art, including new buildings, a new UI skin, a new paper map, event art, clothing assets and many new historical Characters.

By far the worst DLC PDX has ever released in my opinion. That goes for all their GSG titles as well, this DLC actively makes the subcontinent much worse to play in terms of gameplay, fun factor, and historical
