Charters of Commerce adds more depth and new options to Victoria’s sophisticated trade model, including new ways to regulate company expansion, new diplomatic tools, and new unique goods variants that your nation will be known for.

Features of Victoria 3: Charters of Commerce include:

  • Company Charters: grant charters to your nation’s companies to give them an advantage in the cutthroat game of international trade.

    • Trade Charters let companies trade their manufactured goods on the world market*

    • Investment Charters allow companies to establish regional headquarters and invest in foreign markets

    • Colony Charters make it possible for companies to govern colonial regions

    • Industry Charters give companies permission to expand their field of business into other types of production.

  • Monopolies: Encourage monopolistic industries in your country, whether it be a highly efficient but costly state monopoly, or a private company monopoly that crowds out competitors in the production of vital goods.

  • Diplomatic Treaties: Sign new types of diplomatic agreements, including imposing uneven trade deals and setting limits on colonization.

Prestige Goods: Let successful companies branch out into the production of high quality goods like champagne, establishing your unique cultural imprint on a good type and gaining an edge on your competitors.

All this DLC does is paywall treaties. They took out a mechanic and sold it back to you as a "mechanics pack." What a joke. Well, at least I'm not itching to drop money on EUV now. They can keep until they quit this

If you can only get one DLC, this is the one to go for! It's basically Vic3 2.0! Charters of Commerce makes the economy in Victoria 3 finally feel like the deep, living system it was always meant to be. Trade deals,

This DLC completely changes and enhances the Economic and diplomatic aspects of the game through some excellently crafted interconnected mechanics. One of the best ever dlcs made by Paradox maybe ever.

This DLC is alright, but the game as a whole is basically unplayable due to the military side of it being so comprehensively broken. EU5 is coming out soon and it appears to have a substantial portion of Vic3's

Best patch of the game so far. Trade is much more engaging and powerful than it was previously. You no longer run out of rubber if you don't conquer half of Africa. Just an all around good experience.
