User reviews
At the time of writing this I have 15 hours played. I've finished all of this developer's previous games and in my opinion each game is an improvement from the last. I love this game and I thought I wouldn't since I
Not really a good shmup. The first Valfaris was a fantastic game, not entirely sure why the devs shifted so hard, but hopefully they never do this again.
The change in genre was definitely the right call here; because this game ROCKS. Shmups are one of my favorite genres of gaming when I just want to sit down and blast stuff that's in my way, and this game excels at that
I am 4 or 5 stages in and this game is crazy. Its like Dethklok the run and gun in the air. I say that because its not typical shmup play. Checkpoints, upgrades, forward and backward movement, bosses everywhere. Really
I prefer the first game, but this is still great. The boss mechanics were a little less inspired than the first game, feeling a bit flat and sometimes repeating between them. The perspective changes throughout the game
One of the few games that motivated me to to NG+ (and twice at that). I'm not good enough for the challenges but I still had a blast with the normal game even on the highest difficulty. The Metal never dies!
