Description
At the heart of Tropico 6's New Frontiers DLC is the new Spaceport Complex, where you'll build rockets to achieve your ambitious goals. With the all-new Mission Mars campaign, you are assigned with catapulting Tropico into the future at the speed of light. Utilise different components to construct rockets that will keep you ahead of the international competition. But don’t forget, only by staying ahead in research will you win the infamous Space Race, walk on the moon and establish the first Mars colony of humankind. Mars does seem a good place for expansion – or to send your political opponents. Problem solving, the Tropican way....
But dangers and unforeseen events lurk in the vast expanses of space, and you'll need an urgent creative solution if you don't want to abort your mission . There is a new frontier ahead so be sure that in the end, it is you who can proclaim “The eagle has landed!” for Tropico.
Reach for the stars with Tropico 6 - New Frontiers: Together with the brand-new Spaceport Complex, the new mechanics open up exciting possibilities for you to play sandbox scenarios and significantly expand the end-game experience. Expanding your Mars colony by sending more and more Tropicans into space not only gets rid of unwelcome citizens, but also secures valuable bonuses for your island nation.
Mission Mars: The new campaign with 5 missions lets Tropico compete against the international competition in the research race. Meet new and familiar characters from the Tropico series, including the Professor, Hector Sanchez, Patch and Veronica Veneno, and lead your nation into a glorious future!
9 new buildings shoot to the sky! Complete your assembly lines in the new Spaceport Complex and meet the increased energy demand with the Fusion Reactor and the Reclaimer. With the new vertical stacking mechanic, you can expand the Capsule Cluster, Agriculture Tower and Synthetic Food Lab to meet the needs of your subjects. You can also show the world how modern and entertaining Tropico is with the Hologram Funhouse.
New design options for your palace and El Presidente! With the additional decorations and an all new accessory you'll be perfectly prepared for the challenges of the space race!
2 new edicts: Turn your space missions into more money with the "Space Soap Opera" or use "Hear the Call" to get your citizens to the spaceship.

Hate it. I'm on the first mission and my standing with the allies is draining down to nothing for no reason with dire consequences. I'm so sick of these broken DLCs. I've wasted so much money on them.
Same problem as Festival DLC - the designers don't seem to know what makes an island sustainable. Right in the first mission, you have a sprawling island that will bleed money if you do nothing. I'm sure you're thinking
A decent set of additional missions to re-engage you with your presidential character. They are well done, with all the elements that were fun before. But there is nothing really new. New buildings don't change affect
So I choose the wonder heist mission to progress to Modern Era, and I took the Moonlander heist. I am now stuck. How do I progress? The moonlander doesnt count to the era progression mission. Did you really not think
While there are some interesting buildings that come with this expansion (the capsule pod quickly became a staple), the space program on the whole just fails. It drains a ton of resources, tasks are poorly explained and
