Thronebreaker is a single player role-playing game set in the world of The Witcher that combines narrative-driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics.

Crafted by the developers responsible for some of the most iconic moments in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game spins a truly regal tale of Meve, a war-veteran and queen of two Northern Realms — Lyria and Rivia. Facing an imminent Nilfgaardian invasion, Meve is forced to once again enter the warpath and set out on a dark journey of destruction and revenge.

I 110% this game, yet I find hard to recommend it. It has awesome illustrations, with great voice acting & characters, good story, mediocre choices, disappointing mechanics and boring gameplay. The positives of this

Gwent with a story. It goes through a fictionalized recap of the Nilfgaard second invasion that is in the books and how queen of Rivia fought back. All fights are gwent battles, with a lot of puzzle battles, which stops

I enjoyed the first half. By the end, I was begging for it to be over. Let's start with the balancing. It's awful. The game is way too easy, so I put it on the highest difficulty... which was still too easy. My journey

Masterpiece, CDPR should really make a saga out of this (which, if I remember right, was actually planned and later cancelled due to a series of questionable decisions). Great story and excellent single-player
