Description

Requires the base game The Surge.

Enter the bowels of the CREO facility and explore an old and abandoned Quality Assurance lab created to push CREO’s tech to the limit. Warren will face Dr. Rischboter’s deadly test chambers that, for some reason, feel like torn straight out of a twisted Wild West TV show!

Fight through the mad doctor’s training rooms and try modifying them yourself for increased rewards by combining up to 4 of the 16 insane modifiers available. At the end of each stage, fight against distinct Challengers, powerful opponents forged from the training scenarios who are equipped with 30 unique new equipment pieces – armors, weapons, and implants - that you can take for yourself!

If you're looking through the reviews considering buying this dlc (though I know my recommendation is a bit late XD), I recommend considering how much does the lore and feel of the game atmosphere mean to your gameplay.

Way off the main game's theme, it feels like a parody mod that someone made as a joke. When I first read the " Test Chamber " label I thought of something similar to Barrett's labs but a bit more explicit, something

The park DLC is much more fun than this garbage. Most of the levels seem as if they did a cut and paste. Same garbage over and over....I think 3 levels are exactly the same except more guys to defeat. Do you get more

Just some repeating Grind Stuff...always the same bosses, always the same rooms/areas (4 or 5) and only the mobs will get stronger... it is fun for at 20 mins, some of the modifiers make it interesting..but not for

It's an alright DLC. It just adds challenges to the game, as well as a very much-needed fast travel-esque system to the game. Didn't finish the challenges but i think if u get it on sale you'll get your money's worth.

I like this DLC more than the other one. While "Walk in the Park" was just another chapter and a side step from the main story, this western-themed one is a set of crazy challenges based on the vanilla game's mechanics.
