I recommend this game very conditionally. If you have any nostalgia for it, it is pretty much exactly the same game as you remember. The biggest drawback is that it is pretty much EXACTLY the same game as you remember,

honestly this is a better bards tale than the first 3 and the 4th. i enjoyed the combat of this one WAY more than the turn based ones. i dont know why all the bards tales werent like this. would have been so much more
