this DLC seems really cool but its genuinely not worth 13$ Rivals are cool but they just dont really do anything after a while their colony growth just halts and you get as much time as you want to surpass them. trading

Free stuff that came with this DLC is great but of course it should have been included when they had released the game. Still, it is a good addition. I guess, when you pay for this DLC you only get two new countries and

The AI is not on same map. All this DLC offers are some options to trade with someone or steal something and so on. Its not worth the money in no way.

I recommend getting this as part of the Season Pass. I do not recommend buying it individually. As a standalone expansion it's pretty "meh". The rival colonies seem like more of an afterthought. Just a way to attempt
