Breakdown of the Lighteaters DLC

Lighteaters give and take life as they please. Using a variety of healing and self-damaging mechanics, they toy with the Hymn present in every living being...

Their Nexus capital is the cornerstone of their might, housing most of their recruitment options. By using the Nexus Recall strategy card, Lighteaters instantly teleport back to it to cash in loot, recruit new units, or escape from dangerous situations.

They can also conjure an extension of their Nexus through the Nexus Gateway building upgrade, to recruit and push on in their hunt for Hymn.

New Hero Classes (2x3 Hero Vocations)

  • Ancient Lighteaters - Punished for defying the Celestial Gods, they exist in a state between life and death. Their insatiable craving for the Hymn forbids them to fade away.

  • Gluttons - Ever hungry Lighteaters that command a titanic aura and assemble hordes of Gestalts under their banner.

I was hoping there would be an extra campaign, because that is the meat of the game for me. Dev responded that the next DLC will have a campaign! Fantastic. Concerning the contents of this DLC. Truly welcome.

Lighteaters DLC adds to an already outstanding game that's chock full of content. You get the Lighteaters who have some very unique abilities, particularly as it pertains to summons. I only play the skirmish matches

Great that devs are adding new content! Art is beautiful (again) and the new faction has a nice unique ability. If you liked the original game, you will like the DLC. I hope it´s not the last.

What's better than a title you have enjoyed playing? A DLC coming out for it! Something I really enjoy doing in the game is play around with the units, figure out combinations, and see what works best. This DLC brought

While the DLC offers awesome faction & shows improvement of dev team, the current state of faction is quite unrefined, but let's start with positive: (1) Designated unit recruitment, light eater players can upgrade

I like the direction this DLC takes the game into. The teleport-back-to-base ability and upgrade system of the Lighteaters as well as the different usage of resources changes the way I strategize the movement of heros.
