If you're playing co-op both(See edit) you and the host need to own the DLC. I already was unhappy one of my favorite classes was locked behind DLC in the first place, but then I found out that even after I had the DLC

This is a solid DLC for the price. If you're enjoying the game and want more ways to play, it's well worth it for the content and supporting the devs to keep doing more. For context, this review is based on levels 1-5:

Solasta: Classes and Races sold separately! Monk is ok Bard is horrendous when you can only take 4 classes And Warlock does not explain what the "Pact" choices do, at all!
