One of the first games I remember playing was Civilization. Many years later when I found this one steam I bought and haven't looked back. It's my go to game whenever I'm bored. I have tried some of the newer versions

It's Civ. That's all you need to know. For me, it's the last one before it got too complicated. I've been playing the series since Civ 1 and really feel like this is the best one.

This civ has one of the most iconic main menu songs of the entire series. I decided to give the older civ games a try again, and of course they are still addicting. I played until I won. Took two tries.

During battles, player loses most of the time even from a less advanced AI units...! you will have to reload the game several times with the random seed option on, in order to be able to defeat the AI units!! AI always

I wasn't expecting much from a Civilization game from 2005, but I was surprised to find this to be actually really fun and enjoyable. Great gameplay, great soundtrack, just a great game. The graphics are a little dated
