Nowhere close to as good as Metaphor Refantaszio (which is newer) or SMT-Nocture (much older). I would rate this under Persona 3/4/5 as well. I dont know why they skewed so heavily into "look it's scant-clad anime girl

Now having played a few separate titles from Atlus I can say they're all.. not optimal. For me at least. Persona has the greatest focus on characters and people, but can punish you for spending your high school days

If you like turn based combat, then this game is a must play. If u are new then this game is a must try. Gameplay is fun, ofc the music is hard as shi too and its pretty difficult only extremely later in the game tho.
