Description

You are the commander. Your role is to focus on the big picture, make the big decisions, and let your forces handle the execution of them. Make impactful decisions on how to guide the expedition's journey through the Shadowlands, who to bring, what cards to equip, what new paths to unlock and build your strategy to achieve your long-term goals.
Gather and equip both ability and item cards to your samurai, making them even stronger as you progress. Building powerful synergies/combinations between your party members will be crucial in determining the outcome of each battle.
Recruit new samurai, unlock new classes, level up and improve along different paths to grow your party stronger for each run. As your party grows in ability and size, you will be better equipped to face the dangers that lie deeper in the Shadowlands.
Deploy your scouts wisely to reveal the secrets of each path and determine the best route through the treacherous Shadowlands. Each path presents unique opportunities and challenges, offering greater rewards or more formidable adversaries. As you delve deeper, the surroundings become increasingly twisted, corrupt, and intricate.
See your glorious planning pay off as your samurai execute your strategies in battle, without the need for real-time micromanagement. Positioning, who you send into battle, and what abilities and items you equip will shape your party's ability to be victorious against the many enemies you face along your journey.

Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) is a shared gaming universe set in Rokugan, a rich fantasy setting inspired by the samurai cinema of Akira Kurosawa and the history and folklore of Japan, China, and other Asian nations. In Rokugan, shapeshifters, dragons, and gods walk beside mortals, and warring samurai clans clash for power and prestige, duel for love and revenge, and defend against the demonic invasion of the Shadowlands. Since the collectible card game debuted in 1995, L5R has been adapted into a Living Card Game, several tabletop roleplaying games, board games, novels, art books, and a graphic novel. Shadowveil: Legend of the Five Rings is the first-ever video game set in the realm of Rokugan.

I have to admit - I bought this because the screen show made it look like a turn based combat in the Legends of the Five Rings world, which I was excited about - as I love me some turn based games, and I have fond
Fun auto battler with some annoying quirks. PROS: -I really enjoyed building combo decks -There are a bunch of neat bonuses/trees when leveling up your buffs -Story kept me somewhat entertained CONS: -Short Campaign
I really tried to like this game. But there is only so many times i can do the exact same quest only to be told; "We'll get them next time, let's retreat for now." Repetitive in the worst way, and a tremendous lack of
The game is not great. The main gameplay loop is overly simple, and many of the upgrades are actually detrimental to you early on in the game. For example, you are given 2 "Political Capital", one of the many meta
While the game had a strong start it stumbles into the second stage of your rogue like adventure where you are blocked by a boss that has a terribly overturned first phase. The upgrades you get in the main hub fail to
Good game. Interesting concept. I would like to be able to play this, but the progression is way to slow. I just feel like I am wasting my time without any actual impact on the progression. I would only recommend the
