The negative reviews are mostly old players proclaiming their childhood has been ruined or new players complaining the controls are too retro. Ignore them. This is a great game. This is more of a remaster than a remake.

Played the original Secret of Mana on SNES and loved it. Played a few other Mana games on Switch and Steam and loved them. Played this for 2 hours and encountered a game-breaking bug that bricked my save. Thanks Square.

READ BEFORE PURCHASE Please patch this game and its issues. This is a great game and certainly a throwback to childhood. The remaster visually is done very well. Got this to replay/relive these memories with my wife.
