Description

"s.p.l.i.t" is a short narrative driven horror game, with a focus on raw terminal hacking using various commands.

Throughout the game, you chat with your fellow technicians in order to plan and execute a malware attack. Regardless of the outcome, your story won't be told for decades.

Will you hold up your end?

FEATURES:

  • First person gameplay with diegetic & immersive UI.

  • An IRC chat where you gain intel, and learn more about the facility.

  • A terminal where you run software, navigate directories, and execute commands.

  • Detailed command prompt hacking puzzles with an emphasis on traditional inputs.

  • Original soundtrack.

The facility you and your crew infiltrate is a superstructure of unethical electronics.

The daunting task is only made possible by careful planning, and vulnerabilities hidden deep below legacy code and engineering.

Very easy and short game. Took me about 70 minutes to get both endings, but it probably would’ve been faster if I wasn’t so confused at the beginning. The story was actually pretty nice though and the atmosphere was

Fantastic as always! Had me on the edge of my seat with the tension, while simultaneously making me feel smart for figuring out how to operate the terminal. I really hope the dev intends to expand on this universe!

This game built up tension like nothing else. I wish I could pay you $100 for a full length story version of this game, it was incredible. I have historically loved the game Uplink, and never thought I'd love a hacker

Gameplay isn't very scary or interesting like at all. However the endings and story are insane, never seen a game get so carried by the last 2 minutes of like a hour long game. Feel like this game would have been

Another typical mike klubnica game. Short, yet unsettling. And that's a compliment. Loved the subtle, yet deep story and the terminal functionality was so beautifully thought out. And again the disturbing elements were

Genuienly a pretty disturbing game, especially at the end. Whilst it is incredibly short (~30-1hr depending on your level of skills in a terminal/hacking style game), its atmosphere is incredible and I just wish it was
