User reviews
good things: 3rd person Ethan and The Merchanaries bad things: Shadows of Rose boring recycled assets gameplay 7.5/10 Shadows of Rose are too boring, same area, not rewarding Hard enemy, enemy run faster over 60fps+,
I have discovered the RE series by playing RE 8 first. I was enthralled, so I bought and played RE 7, and then came back to finish Ethan's Saga with this DLC. Rose's campaign is very fun. Some people might not like it
I enjoyed this more than the base game, in all honesty. It made both Rose and Ethan shine, and I think stepping away from the self-insert intentionally characterless player character was a great call. The middle section
One of the worst RE dlcs I have ever played. Its like putting someone in charge who's never played a RE in their life. It felt like someone had been playing too much Diablo then went back to playing awful games like
The Shadows of Rose DLC is absolutely terrible. Just clunky, trashy gameplay. Played it for an hour and did not have fun for one second. Literally zero enjoyment to extract out of this disaster.
I only played Shadows of Rose from this bundle. Ngl I really enjoyed it despite how short it was, but particularly hits hard after completing Pragmata. Ethan Winters is a very well written character, and I'm glad
