In many ways, this game can be seen as simplified Pokemon. Normally, that wouldn't be a bad thing, but there is such a thing as too simplified. Unlike Pokemons, Nexomons have no IVs, EVs, natures, or passive abilities,
I love the nexomon games for their humor, sprite work, creatures, mechanics, and story. This one is great, may be a bit of a grind early on but it gets easier to level the more you progress. Only other problem I have
If you are someone that enjoys a constant challenge throughout the game then maybe give it a try, but if you just want to play a creature collecting game you might want to know what you are getting yourself into. I
The graphics are nice. Funny cat critter. The matching sequence game when catching nexomon was slightly annoying at first (X, Cube, Triangle, O buttons to press in sequence). Game Needs controller. Relax game :)
Enjoyed the first one so had high expectations going into this. I wasn't disappointed but still kinda annoyed how they improved things and somehow made certain things worse than before. First of all, the scaling world.
