Description

From the talented team at Aeroplane Heaven comes the latest addition to FSX: Steam Edition's impressive fleet of Pipers, the Aztec PA-23-250-D.

This Aztec variant is an upgraded version of the original Piper PA-23, formerly named Apache, which features two 250hp Lycoming O-540 engines, a longer nose for baggage storage, six seats, a swept vertical tail, and revised instrument panels and controls.

In the world of FSX: Steam Edition, GA twin-engine props such as these can be flown out of most airfields and airports, and can also be used in Multiplayer mode for short to mid-range group flights and fly-ins.

The Aztec is perfect for both VFR and IFR flying. Remember, just as in the real world, flaps should not be used for takeoff!

Aeroplane Heaven's Piper Aztec includes:

  • Altimatic MkIII autopilot system
  • Toggleable complete suite of modern avionics, including a GPS
  • Toggleable yokes, engine levers
  • Opening main cabin door, moveable co-pilot seat, forward luggage hatch and rear luggage hatch
  • Working cranks to operate trimmers
  • Operating visors
  • Kneeboard checklist for accurate cold and dark start-up and shutdown
  • High quality paint kit

This gorgeous aircraft is available exclusively from the FSX: Steam Edition store. Happy flying!

Wish I could recommend this DLC, because the Aeroplane Heaven Aztec is, for the most part, an extremely solid product. The ability to switch between a "classic" NAV/COM radio stacks and autopilot and a more modern

As a long time flight sim geek I really miss flying Bill Lyon's wonderful Piper Apache model from the days of FS2002/2004 and this add on goes some way towards filling that gap in my virtual hangar. The Piper Aztec

There is only one reason that I don't like this. After about ten minutes of flight, the gear flaps radios and, I think, heading indicator stop working. the gear won't drop, flaps are stuck where they are, and no audio

This Piper Aztec Add-on is total garbage. Do not buy it. It is a waste of money. Electronics in aircraft mainly the radios and autopilot don't work. The graphics are also poor. There are free aircraft better than this

I was sceptical to this addon when I read the reviews, but since it was on sale I bought it anyways. And I'm glad I did. This is simply a beauty. The 3D Cocpit is stunning at night, and I haven't gotten to try it at
