I have now 1cc'd the game and thus my opinion is valid: This game is perfect. Play it, go for the 1cc. The steam version has an ugly and awkward menu. I'm not sure exactly how accurate of an emulation this version is

The game is too damn hard, even on medium. True, you have infinite continues, but where's the fun in that? In the later missions, you genuinely can't tell what's going on on the screen, and keep dying over and over. I

I love metal slug as much as anyone else, but this port is subpar for its poor performance and input delay. If you want to experience the best version of Metal Slug, I would recommend the Metal Slug: Anthology
