Fair warning: I played the original Mafia over twenty years ago, so most of the story felt almost fresh — except for that infamous race and the ending, which never left my memory. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake
For not knowing this was a remake personally, it was really fun to play. I enjoyed the combat system when i wasn't achievement hunting and the driving and racing is really really fun, especially once you get the crazy
It's absolutely insane how stunning this game is. Collecting all the stuff needed for the achievements really put into perspective how many details and areas were constructed without the expectation of anyone actually

A classic. A good balance of challenge and story. Playing it for a 2nd time in 2026 having bought the original version on release. The racecar level was not as hard as I remembered. Graphics - Good Sound - Great Does
