While this game is good, the checkpoints are very frustrating. And no saving mid-level when I have to stop playing, or WANT to stop playing because the game is frustrating, is just not acceptable in 2025. Two examples
At first glance, LUNARK appeared promising as a modern cinematic platformer. However, as I progressed through each stage, the experience increasingly felt like a derivative work heavily modeled on classics such as
A singular gem. It's inspired by flashback and those games but - I think it plays better, feels more coherent, and has more tight controls. The soundtrack is truly great and the setting and characters are nicely fleshed
