If you want to play this game on Steam Deck you need to change the Proton version to 5-10. It kept crashing after the cutscene with Kain in the Wiliam's tomb before I did that.

The gameplay of this one is not as good as the first one. The design of the areas takes a backseat to the story and the cutscenes, which can't be skipped. And the Save Points can be hours apart in places. It concludes
Uhhhh, YEAH. All of the Legacy of Kain games should be at least played once. The Soul Reaver ones are my absolute favorite. But you still cannot go wrong with Blood Omen or Defiance
