You play as a royal treasure hunter, sent to explore the lands of Endoria in search of gold, glory, and ancient secrets. Your journey takes you through lively towns, untamed wilderness, and perilous dungeons, each playing a role in a story that begins simply but grows into a tale filled with twists, surprises, and a memorable ending.
Your adventure in Endoria blends real-time exploration with turn-based tactical combat. The world feels alive as you travel, while battles focus on positioning, morale, army composition, and smart use of magic. Success depends on preparation and strategy rather than quick reactions.
Choose from three different hero types - Warrior, Paladin, or Mage - each offering a distinct playstyle, unique abilities, and different approaches to progression. A wide variety of creatures, spells, and artifacts allows you to experiment with strategies and build armies that suit your preferred way of playing, giving the game strong replay value.
King’s Bounty: The Legend invites you to become a hero in a fantasy world of fearless knights, evil mages, wise kings and beautiful princesses. Explore the land, command armies and accomplish quests for your king to reap great rewards... Or suffer devastating defeats.
Real-time exploration meets turn-based tactical battles: Freely explore the world in real time, then switch to deep, turn-based combat where positioning, timing, and preparation decide the outcome.
Deep, puzzle-like tactical combat: Battles are built around smart decisions, army composition, spell usage, and morale - not reflexes or brute force.
Addictive “one more battle” progression loop: Constant rewards, new units, artifacts, spells, and upgrades create a steady sense of progress that keeps the adventure moving forward.
Meaningful army-building and unit synergies: Recruit a wide variety of creatures and build armies around morale bonuses, abilities, and tactical combinations.
Three distinct hero classes: Play as a Warrior, Paladin, or Mage - each offering unique strengths, skills, and different approaches to combat and progression.
A large hand-crafted fantasy world: Dozens of locations and battlefields - both on the surface and in the dungeons. Travel through towns, wild landscapes, and dangerous dungeons filled with quests, secrets, and powerful rewards.
A dynamic world that doesn’t wait for the player: Enemies roam the map, pursue their own goals, and actively stand in your way, turning exploration into part of the challenge.

King's Bounty: The Legend is by far my favorite in the series. It's so good. This year, 2026 at the time of this writing, they have improved support on modern PCs and Steam achievements are on the way. Nice to see this
Great game, I love it. Maybe a little bit too repetitive and too manyfights, but an awesome world and great units. Also incredible that they released a big patch with achievements and higher resolution after 20 years.
King's Bounty: The Legend was not a game I expected to enjoy because it's so different from what I was expecting. I have an appreciation for turn based games, mainly because I am slow and boring, but the first few times
This is a cozy and chill RPG that still looks good and is fun to play even in its aging form. Recent beta updates have conveniently added graphic and monitor/tv support for 4k widescreens and also now includes
King's Bounty: The Legend is a fantastic blend of Heroes of Might and Magic-style turn-based combat and RPG exploration that kept me hooked for almost 30 hours. The freedom to roam a beautifully crafted fantasy world at
One of the greatest RTS of all time. I played this all throughout the covid lockdown with no internet for most of it but I never finished it. It is pretty in depth and then has all these expansions as well that I barely
