Publisher aptly named "grindstone" - remove the "let them cook" achievement. It doesn't respect the players time. After 30 hours it's literally the only reason I'm still playing. Grind for the sake of grind. zzz
Perfect brain-off game. Gameplay is basically one endless loop: walk in circles > auto-attack everything > hope your build stops being garbage before the screen turns into a full-on Scandinavian light show. And somehow…
I do have a soft spot in my heart for this game, albeit it hits like a 'junk food' bullet hell vampire survivor clone. I played this game when the demo first came out in the Steam Nextfest, showed a lot of potential
10/10 for a $15 game. It's extremely rare for me to buy a full-priced Steam game these days, but I had an itch and saw this. Read some of the reviews, saw one that pretty succinctly dismissed most of the negative
The 'gold imps' your abilities won't hit most of the time so you are walking around the level trying to take them out as you get hit in the face over and over. Skills like 'skull cage' from nidhogg help to lock them
Verdict: Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a great Vampire survivor clone that works quite well with Norse mythology. Recommended with no issue. + Positives + + Steam achievements (38, quite grindy) + Steam trading cards
