Literally a scam for anyone who bought this game since day 1. No longer supported and have no code like PS4 version. The new GBVS Rising pretty much killed the base game with no discount nor any benefits for the new one.
Why would you play this game over Rising in 2025? Simple - if you want to play RPG mode cooperatively with a friend. The majority of the main story line missions allow you to play either online or locally with an ally.

This game is great but Rising killed the Online and frankly I like this one better than rising- rising is more expensive but witha freemium model, every character is locked behind DLC and the game doesn't really do
