Description

Brave: The Video Game is a Third-Person Action-Adventure game that is a companion release to the Disney/Pixar 2012 major animated release of the same name. Brave is Pixar's first fairy tale release and features the adventures of Merida, the studio's first female lead character in a movie. The game features: a family-friendly storyline, bow and arrow as well as a sword combat, agile in-game movement, puzzle play, characters from the movie as well as others unique to the game, and compatibility with both Windows and Mac operating systems.

Inspired by "Brave", the Disney/Pixar animated fantasy adventure movie, Brave: The Video Game invites players to run, jump and battle their way through the rugged landscape of mythical and mysterious Scotland. By using their wits and bravery, gamers will also be able to wield a sword and bow and arrow to defeat fierce enemies, break a magical curse and save a kingdom.

Play as Merida, Pixar's first female hero and an expert archer, or in the console versions players can also play as other entertaining characters from the film. In addition, they will be able to go on quests through a magical world and solve puzzles to uncover secrets. Gameplay features include an exciting single-player campaign, co-op for family and friends and a special Bear mode, in which players are able to play as a bear.

The best game for people who don’t usually like video games. You can also play co-op with someone playing as a Wisp. (They have a full upgrade tree and everything.) There is controller support but the instruction icons

short but very fun. camera angles when parkour can take some getting used to and the soundtrack is mainly just one song so you may turn it off after a bit. Not shabby at all for a 2012 game. 7.5/10 at least 75% off 5/10

This is one of the more challenging Disney games I have played, but in a fun way. However, it is pretty much impossible to try and play on a controller. It is playable with a keyboard but takes a while to understand the

A pretty decent game all things considered. The gameplay is good enough to make you pretty invested. You can either shoot arrows or fight with the sword. The graphics are not perfect, but sure are good for a 2012 game.

Disney•Pixar Brave: The Video Game sits comfortably in that space occupied by many licensed adaptations—it doesn’t attempt to radically redefine its genre, but it also avoids feeling like a rushed or careless tie-in.

I first got this for just being a dungeon game with of course based on a Pixar film (which it's shocking for Pixar to make a princess film), and after so much gameplay hours I can say that this... another great game
