About the Game

Can you survive?

Dead Estate is a gory, fast-paced, challenging, rogue-like shooter with a heavy emphasis on Halloween and other horror influences. Ascend the floors of a monster-filled mansion with 10 unique characters, collecting loads of items and weapons, tackle grueling challenges, and discover secrets and unlockables along the way!

Beware of the lurking threats on every floor -- some are especially persistent...

High replayability!

  • 10 playable characters, each with distinct playstyles and 4 Costumes each

  • 150 weapons and 300 items to make each run unique

  • Explore the vast complexity of the Estate - discovering alternate floors & floor variants

  • An isometric style with compact rooms designed for tense, close-quarters combat

  • Try a looped run, or varying difficulty levels to push your skills

  • Blessing & Curse run modifiers to maximize replayability

  • 20 custom Challenge Runs

  • A bounty of secrets to be discovered, and many more to be unlocked

Assignment Anya

An entirely separate campaign inspired by classic survival horror games, set prior to the events of the main game. Play as Anya, a fledgling actress who finds herself helplessly lost in the mansion after her film crew is attacked by the undead.

Abandoned by her leading man and left alone with nothing but a mask to disguise herself with, Anya must escape the increasingly warped and deadly estate all on her own.

Controller support is included, but a keyboard + mouse is recommended for the best experience.

I honestly can't believe I've only played 13 hours of this game. Review below, spoiler free. Fast pace gameplay meets bullet-hell meets perspective-hell in an old, classic videogame vibe with tons of references and

an amazing game with more than enough replay-ability to make your head spin, an amazing story with lots of niche bits of foreshadowing hidden around in the environment. there are definitely a few bugs here and there,

Now I usually hate roguelites, especially these types of top-down + bullet hell style ones. But Dead Estate just had TWO GREAT BIG reasons that convinced me to pick it up, and boy I don't regret a thing. Game runs well,
