this dlc is the dark and sinister gem of dark souls 2. from the enemies to the level design, everything adds to the dark and dreary atmosphere. it feels so convincing. ds2 was never known for its epic bosses like ds1

My personal favorite of the 3. Brume Tower is such an insanely stunning and unique area and it has the perfect difficulty. Fume Knight and Sir Alonne are also top-tier fights and it's worth getting it alone just for

TLDR: Overall like 6/10 DLC being propped up by good boss design. Probably the weakest DLC in this game for me. Definitely the best bosses of any of the DLCs overall but the level design in this one is terrible and

Iron King is the second best DLC out of the 3. Imo, only the bosses stood out for me. Fume Knight is easily the best DS2 Boss, Sir Alonne was disappointing (he's a dash one trick plus worst runback), blue smelter demon
