I came to this game after playing Enhanced version, and this was a mistake because character transfers don't work in that direction. As a result, I used a tool called WillowTree to copy my character from the Enhanced

This game was alright for a short spell in 2009, but as time passed it's clear this was terribly overrated by everyone (including yours truly). Borderlands feels less like a first person shooter and more like a mobile

This is the best version of Borderlands 1 to play. Don't get the enhanced edition; it makes a lot of negative and subjective changes. There are a lot of QoL mods you can get for this version that makes it even better.

I played this game, as well as the second Borderlands, on Xbox back when it first came out. It was a fun game then, and it continues to be fun today. I really like the combat and I especially enjoyed Jakob's Cove.
