Description

Requires Borderlands 2 or Borderlands: The Handsome Collection to play.

Return to the award-winning shooter-looter for an all-new adventure that sets the stage for the upcoming Borderlands 3. Sanctuary is under siege, the Vault Map has been stolen, and a toxic gas is poisoning Pandora. Battle new bosses, explore new areas, collect new loot (including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary), and join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on ruling the planet.

Returning players can pursue an increased level cap of 80, while newcomers can automatically boost to level 30 and dive straight into the action.

This DLC is a middle finger to bl2 fans. Won't buy another thing from Gearbox. When I started playing this again, I didn't realize until lvl 72 that I couldn't get op levels until 80 which requires this DLC. This DLC

TL;DR It's overpriced as heck and the juice isn't fully worth the squeeze. If you're a Borderlands FREAK like me - get it on über discount for a couple bucks. Otherwise, you're really not gonna miss it.

I haven't beat this yet, but the writing alone has forced my hand into a negative review. This is one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had in regards to the writing. Every single line of dialogue has been a

Ruined the balance of a game that didn't have any patches in 5 years by arbitrarily increasing the level cap to 80, ruining build diversity, necessitating mods to revert back to lvl 72 OP8 (BL2 fix), and adding a new

You pay money for access to the OP leveling system, and they decided that you actually don't get it anymore and have to pay 5 more dollars for OP levels you already paid for. Also just simultaneously half-baked and
